Hoping to slide drift move the Formula Drift fanbase out of the left coast and into mainstream America, FD has announced ESPN2, home of all sports extreme, will televise the 2007 championship season. “Along with the X Games and other cutting-edge sports on ESPN2, we feel that adding Drifting to our programming lineup is providing a great service to our viewers and we’re excited about it,” says Frantz Cayo, Director of Motor Sports Programming for ESPN.

Cheers to FD and their loyal fans…if this isn’t the miracle grow that’ll get Formula Drift to spawn new followers, we don’t know what will.
