Carlsson Crusher 280CE

Carlsson's 's classic apex crusher is a German tank built for the track (and water).

Is it us, or do Carlsson’s modern creations (say, this CLK) look just a little too soft and pretty to cut hill climb apexes at maximum attack? Carlsson’s W123 (built between 1978-85) chassis 280CE, equipped with the bulletproof M110 straight six motor harkens back to the days when everything on a Benz was made of West German heavy metal. Despite the 280CE looking like it handles like a 1-800 mattress, admit it, body roll and yaw have never looked so good. If some of us at 0-60 had our druthers, we’d druther this Carlsson 280CE over any new one.

(danke w123-club.de for the image and 190Rev for the tip)
