Oh No, Ohio!!!

Your project car may be garbage in the Buckeye state...

This country has some great laws, like having the ability to shoot any sonobitch who steps on your property and tries to endanger you, your family or take your belongings. Then there are crappy ones that allow a town to deem your cherished project vehicle garbage and remove it form you property. Unfortunately, we don’t think the great law is applicable to stop the crappy one. But if you live in Ohio you should speak up, TODAY, ’cause by December 1st, a new bill may be put into motion that will outlaw inoperable vehicles from taking up space on your private property. Look, we will be the first to admit that some projects should be sent to scrap metal heaven, or at least it be mandated that they are properly covered and out of sight. But the problem with a law like this, is it does not distinguish between your collector Porsche and some 56 Chevy jalopy. C’mon, no one wants to live next to the crap-box on cinder blocks, but there needs to be some middle ground here. And Ohio, is not the first to enact the “junk car law.” Our fellow backyard mechanics at Jalopnik reported on a town in Iowa that passed the same law not to long ago. Is your state next? ACT NOW to stop a Police state in the USA, it’s fascism with a friendly face.

Wow..If I lived in Ohio and this law was passed, I would apply the law mentioned in the 1st sentence of this article, to any sonobitch tryin' to come git my car!

Interesting, that never even occurred to me Bomber, until you just mentioned that. This could be the end of Barn Finds, well at least those not actually stored in a barn.
