Hands down, Joey Hand’s tumble at Mid Ohio this year is one of the most spectacular crashes we’ve seen in a long time. Granted it’s no Mulsanne Mercedes flying flip, but Joey walked away from his demolished M3 with a bad bruise and a bad-ass story to tell in the paddox at the next Grand Am event. Which makes watching his horrifying end-over-end endo feel guilt-free. Now, that crash did cost him the win, so we at 0-60 have decieded that it’s only right that he at least wins the SPEED Performance Award for Best Hit.
